Home Health

Well it's Thursday and all forces are ready for meltdown as no bm for a week. We have started home health care and the psych nurse told Mr S that he was in denial. I guess about whether or not he should be here. She was nearly catatonic last night when I got home. We got her up and all went into the living room to listen to Wed church. Geoff Buck preached - it was good. She ate some for me and drank as well. He says that the home health nurse said neither of them should eat cole slaw - I'm waiting to hear why when I speak to her. Maybe Mrs shouldn't be him?

This am she drank 4 oz warm prune juice followed by 4 oz apple/cranberry/cherry - and mostly water juice. Then drank 8 oz of cold water. Then ate almost a full bowl of cottage cheese with jello and peaches. Then he tried to feed her coffee - um um

This week we've had a visit from a social worker, a screener for home health, a psych nurse and I think an aid will be coming on Sunday. We've learned that if you have any privately funded care it's harder to get any assistance.
